Tommy Ferranti was born in Brooklyn, New York in 1928. For the last 20 years, he has been a stand-up comedian and impressionist. His main impressions are George Burns, Colombo and Jimmy Durante. He has also performed for the last 20 years at the Magic Castle as a renowned and certified magician where he received awards and citations from the society of American magicians. He performed under the stage name “what’s his name”, the magician. 

In or around the early 1950s he landed his first job in show business as a drummer in his own band. He progressed to performing with other performers such as the Ann Demarcross Sisters, Lenny Welch, Lou Monte, Gary ‘US’ Bonds as well as many more. 

He has during his career over the last 50 years performed in and around all the major resorts, cruise ships, conventions, private parties, banquets, bar mitzvahs’, and nightclubs. Tommy was the opening act for the magic and movie hall of fame at O’Sheas in Las Vegas, Nv. for 10 years.
